The 16th ifva had an unprecedented success in March 2011 with the support from the Pure Art Foundation.
Ten finalists had a chance to showcase their works in the Pao Galleries for 10 days while the Gold and Silver award winners
received a cash prize of HK$50,000 and HK$30,000 respectively.

The Gold Award winner of the 16th ifva, Kenny Wong, took the first chance to travel to Austria in
late August for the Ars Electronica, the most established media arts festival in the world.

The 16th ifva Interactive Media Category Finalist Exhibition was launched at the Pao Galleries on 11 March 2011 and
successfully completed on 20 March 2011. There was an overwhelming positive reaction to the exhibition and the 10-day show attracted
over 4,600 visitors. Visitors were genuinely taken by surprise at the playfulness and diversity of the media art pieces by the local finalists.
